BIOLUMA 2900LVG+ SENSOR

Only sensor to integrate GrainMap™ (grain angle), XHD color vision, and HD laser profiles at 2500 Hz. The industry’s fastest, most advanced transverse automated planer grading sensor.

BioLuma 2900LVG+ was developed for transverse planer mill automated grading. Dense GrainMap measurements, XHD color images, and true differential profile measurements along the full length of the piece at speeds of 2500 Hz.

GrainMap grain angle measurement affords more comprehensive defect analysis; simply put, it allows the optimizer to detect and classify more defects than a system without the benefit of this capability.

XHD color images let your optimizer identify and classify the most minute defects for accurate grade classification.

HD laser profile measurements and the fastest data capture available let your system collect and analyze more complete data. BioLuma 2900LVG+ is the industry’s most advanced sensor.

One-of-a-kind grade scanning in the planer mill
It’s a whole new way to look at finished wood. BioLuma 2900LVG+ offers the precise, high speed processing demanded for today’s transverse automated planer mill grading. It offers all the horsepower you need to detect the widest range of defects in the planer mill. Coupled with USNR’s Transverse High Grader (THG) software platform that utilizes Lineal High Grader (LHG) image processing and classification, BioLuma 2900LVG+ puts you in the driver’s seat when it comes to managing your transverse planer mill automated grading process.
