This position provides on-site installation,
service, and repair for both hardware and software elements of all Inovec
products. Customer and field support efforts are provided on a 24 hr.
basis. Significant travel is involved.
Candidates must hold an AS degree in
Electrical Engineering Technology or related field with one year experience
or equivalent training and experience. Understand troubleshooting electronic
circuits to component level, computer operating systems (DOS/Windows NT),
possess a strong electro-mechanical background, and have a basic understanding
of programmable logic controllers (PLC). Requirements also include effective
written and verbal communication skills, the ability to operate independently,
and valid driver's license.
Software Engineer - Senior Level

Provide C++ development for data acquisition,
communications and graphics applications on a Windows XP platform. Design of
application, system and inter-process communication architectures. Provide
technical C++ programming and Windows expertise for other team members as
needed. Provide software estimates to meet business requirements. Document
all design, coding, and testing activities for development work.
Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Computer Science or Engineering and 5+ yrs of development work using C++ and
strong technical experience in GUI development using Visual C++, object-oriented
development methodologies, and MS Windows XP OS. Familiarity with Database
programming and concepts, and/or Firebird Database a plus. Possess a proven
ability to communicate with non-technical business partners and be team oriented.
Optimization/Image Processing Software Engineer

Inovec, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer
to participate in the data acquisition and image processing of 3-dimensional
and visual scanning and recognition in wood products. The ideal candidate
will have project leadership skills, solid C/C++ programming and analytical
skills. Strong interpersonal and communications skills are also required.
The candidate will develop image processing algorithms and specify/design
processing architectures for image capture and analysis. Experience with
WiT, MATLAB, and other image processing tools is an asset.
This position requires a bachelor's degree
in Engineering or a related technical field and related educational or
work experience.
Software Engineer - Junior Level

Science or Engineering and 5+ yrs of development experience using C++ or
equivalent; however, an excellent GPA can be substituted for development
experience. Experience in GUI development using Visual C++, object-oriented
development methodologies, and MS Windows XP OS are considered as assets.
Familiarity with Database programming and concepts, and/or Firebird Database
a plus. It is also necessary to be team oriented.
This key position maintains a competitive
advantage by maximizing the service and manufacturing operations’ efficiency
and effectiveness. This position reports to the CEO and is a senior management
role responsible for directing the managers of Field Service, Engineering,
Software, and Production.
The VP of Operations is responsible for
strategic planning of technological and financial resources, presenting
assumptions and recommending objectives. Leadership skills include hiring,
training, coaching and reviewing performance of managers. Must be able to
develop a climate for collaboration between departments, establish plans,
budgets, and results measurements and possess the ability to make mid-course
corrections.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in
Business or related field and five years experience managing a manufacturing,
engineering, or related operation. Technical expertise is a plus.
